Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Flash Dev ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play GLITCH (the "App"), a puzzle game available on Android. By using the App you agree to this policy.

01INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following categories of information, primarily through the third-party SDKs described in Section 3:

Device & app information — device model, OS version, app version, language, screen resolution, and time zone.
Usage data — screens viewed, levels played, features used, session length, and in-app events (e.g. level complete, daily puzzle solved).
Crash & performance data — crash reports, stack traces, and ANR data collected by Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.
Advertising identifiers — Google Advertising ID (GAID) used by AdMob to serve and measure ads. See Section 4 for opt-out options.
Local app data — level progress, best scores, and settings are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account information. No registration is required to play GLITCH.

02HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Improve the game — crash reports and analytics help us identify bugs, fix performance issues, and understand which features players enjoy.
Display ads — advertising revenue keeps GLITCH free. AdMob uses device identifiers to serve relevant ads and measure campaign effectiveness.
Aggregate analytics — we review aggregated, non-identifiable statistics (e.g. "most players reach World 3") to guide future level design.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

03THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

These services may transfer data to servers outside your country. Google LLC participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

04ADVERTISING & AD IDENTIFIERS

GLITCH displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your Google Advertising ID (GAID) to show you personalised ads based on your interests. No personally identifiable information (name, email, etc.) is shared with advertisers.

Opt out of personalised ads: On your Android device go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation. You will still see ads, but they will not be targeted to your interests.

Rewarded ads in GLITCH are always optional — you choose to watch them to receive an in-game hint. Interstitial ads appear briefly between level transitions (at most once every three levels).

05CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

GLITCH is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at flashdev95@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

AdMob is configured to serve ads appropriate for general audiences. If you are a parent or guardian with concerns, you may disable ad personalisation on your child's device as described in Section 4.

06DATA RETENTION

Crash & analytics data — retained by Firebase for up to 60 days (Crashlytics) and 14 months (Analytics) per Google's standard retention settings.
Advertising data — retained by Google AdMob per Google's policies.
Local game data — stored on your device until you uninstall the App or clear app data.

We do not maintain our own servers that store your personal data.

07YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access & portability — request a copy of data we hold about you.
Deletion — request deletion of your data. Because GLITCH stores progress only on your device, uninstalling the App deletes all local data. For data held by Firebase or AdMob, contact Google directly.
Opt-out of personalised ads — see Section 4.
Withdraw consent — you may withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the App.

08SECURITY

We rely on industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase and Google's infrastructure. All analytics and crash data is transmitted over HTTPS. Game progress is stored locally on your device using Android's standard app storage, which is sandboxed from other applications.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect information collected about you.

09CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify you within the App. Continued use of GLITCH after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
